Erica Kluge works alongside veterinarians by creating a plan to help your animal receive a full-range of care. As an addition to your routine veterinary care, Osteopathy provides support to your animal’s day-to-day quality of life. Over time, Kluge is able to help with postural imbalance, improve breathing and soft tissue health. Equine Osteopathy is not a replacement for routine veterinary care.
About Erica
Erica has always been fascinated with how systems integrate to become a whole. She began her journey with musculoskeletal alignment in 2009 and established her structural integration practice, Perceptual Balance, in 2014. The natural next step in her educational development was osteopathy. After a 5 year search, Erica found the Vluggen Institute for Equine Osteopathy & Education. This unique degree allows Erica to provide care & support for animals.
As a child, she would observe her father as he worked on plumbing and irrigation systems. This built the foundation of her interest in the flow & behavior of fluids. Erica has always been fascinated with how systems integrate to become a whole, both of which are principles of osteopathy.
Just like humans, animals experience pain and mobility issues. Unfortunately, they don’t have the voice to describe how they feel. Erica is able to interpret their movement behavior and using her expansive knowledge of how their systems integrate, is able to alleviate their pain. Her care & nurture shines through with each session as her patient rewards her with licks, nuzzles, and a relaxed posture.
Locations Served
Erica is based out of the Oklahoma City metro area and serves the areas of Oklahoma, Northern Texas, Eastern New Mexico, Eastern Colorado, Southern Kansas, and Western Arkansas. She is willing to negotiate travel upon request to areas outside of her normal coverage.
